About me
Mauricio is a Peruvian writer, director and editor based in NYC.
A Columbia University MFA in Film graduate, he was recognized by NALIP as part of their Directors You Should Know list. He won the Peruvian Ministry of Culture Best Short Film Award for El Niño Y El Mar, and his short films Summer Haze and Curandera have screened in prestigious film festivals including Palm Springs, Nashville, Inside Out, Bogoshorts and Lebu International Film Festival.
Besides writing, directing and editing his own work, he has also fulfilled the role of Production Designer and Editor in many award-winning films.
